  • What kind of wax does The Radcliff Candle Company use?
We use natural coconut or soy-based wax blended with food-grade paraffin in our candles and 100% soy tart wax in our wax melts.
  • What kind of wick does The Radcliff Candle Company use?
We use CD (Stabilo) candle wicks. The product is made of flat braided cotton with paper threads woven into the cotton. The reinforced construction of the wick is designed to ensure a consistent burn with higher fragrance loads, especially with softer, more viscous natural waxes.
  • How should I care for my candle?
Properly trim the wick after each burn and keep your container free of dust. Do not burn candles for more than 2 - 3 hours at a time.
  • How long does it take to receive my order?
The Radcliff Candle Company manufactures each candle in-house and our candles are hand-poured. Please allow 5 - 7 business days for shipping. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number and notification. Please note that "business day" does not include weekends or Federal, state or local holidays.
  • Do I have to pay sales tax?
Yes. The Radcliff Candle Company is a Maryland business and all orders are subject to Maryland state sales tax.
  • Can I make changes to my order?
We will make every effort to accommodate reasonable change requests. To make a change, please contact us at RadcliffCandleCompany@yahoo.com, as soon as possible, and include your order number. We will provide an update on the status of your change request.
  • Can my order be rushed?
The current processing time before your order ships is 5 - 7 business days. Small rush orders (10 or less candles) can be processed for an additional $30. Large rush orders (11 or more candles) can be processed for an additional $45. Rushed orders will be delivered by FedEx or another available overnight carrier.
  • Do you accept checks or money orders?
We are unable to accept checks or money orders at this time. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Cash is accepted for on-site transactions.
